What are TRIP Evidence Reviews?

TRIP Evidence Reviews have been created after considerable consultation, to give 'evidence blasts'. It allows clinicians a quick and easy way of seeing the best new research published in the last 2-3 years. Other material has also been added to help with updating.

The TRIP Evidence Reviews are not meant to be a systematic review of all the new literature available in a topic area. That would be impossibly long. So how do you break the topic area down into a manageable size? As with everything we do with TRIP we try for a pragmatic solution. The tension on one side is to be inclusive of all the evidence. On the other side the tension is to make a resource that is usable for real clinicians.

Given the feedback so far we think we've got it about right. However, if you have any suggestions to improve the reviews and/or suggestions for new topics, we'd love to hear from you - use the 'comments' feature below. For a list of all our reviews to date click here.
